- Common Customer Questions Q: Why doesn’t it detect my drone? A: Your drone likely isn’t broadcasting Remote ID. Only drones that are legal and comply with FAA Remote ID standards will appear in the detection list. Q: Can I detect non-compliant, iIlegal or modified drones? A: No. Detection of non-broadcast drones requires specialized counter-drone equipment that is not available for civilian use under FAA regulations. Recommended Setup Tips If your drone or the drone you’re monitoring does not transmit Remote ID, it will not appear — this is expected behavior and does not mean the device is malfunctioning.
